Nano the
dream of Mr. Ratan Tata is in trouble. Reason Indian Politics. There are some basic issues involved. One is Indian Law of Land acquisition for the industrial purpose. Secondly the insurance of such projects. Thirdly, the mentality of Indian politics about such projects.
If taken broadly india should have a comprehensive policy on the land acquisition for the industry. All the i
ssues must be resolved before the industry make the investment. Furthermore no secrets should be there, so that public should be aware of all the things like price paid to the farmers. Price of land taken from the Industrialists, current market rates, rehabiltaion ..etc.
There is no doubt that Nano is important for indian automobile industry and India as a whole. Its peoples car. Providing a Car in 1 lakh is challenge particularly when inflation is around 12 %.
If we talk about the indian politics, the think tank in indian political arena. I personally feel that there should be major c
hange at the way political peoples look at these issues. They should realize that they have to work constructively before it starts hurting them or their parties. Or what should be othe way out? We need to think about that now seriously. What is happening with Nano may happen with anyother project also.
with a Billion population India badly needs some big projects to generate employement in each sector. Automobile is one of them. We need in Agriculture, Animal husbandry, MFCG, Information technology. What can a Nano like innovation in Information Technology. May be we can be a hosting and network admnistration capital of the Whole world in the cheapest prices what we can offer. or else we can be web developement capital of the world. may be we can the capital of .....What?
